Breaking Ground

It's a beautiful morning. At 9:30 AM they are breaking ground for the Grotto...after months of planning, phone calls, meetings etc. I think it is fitting... that the work will begin at the start of Holy Week.

The Flags are Put in Place

When I went to Church to decorate for Palm Sunday...I took a picture out the window of the car. The outline of the Grotto is marked with flags. JULIE was called and they came out to flag the area. The robin is looking it over. Tomorrow the work may begin. Joe will be there to supervise. An exciting time for him and our Church.

The Grotto Work Begins

This is an architect's rendition of what the Grotto will look like. Joe has made some changes since this drawing was made. You can get the idea of how it will look, however. Work is beginning on the Grotto project. Spring is here and the ground is ready. I will post pictures and information as the work progresses on this project. It is an exciting time for Joe and all concerned. When the Grotto is completed, we will select trees and plants to put around it. Come back again and check on the progress.
